Privacy Policy

Last updated 2026-05-06

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Circletech Labs Corp, doing business as Cabals ("Cabals", "we", "us", or "our"), collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards information when you access or use our website at cabals.com and any associated web or mobile applications, together with all related features and tools (collectively, the "Services").

The Services are a social trading interface for the Hyperliquid network. By accessing or using the Services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with the terms of this policy, please discontinue use of the Services.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information that identifies, relates to, describes, or could reasonably be linked with you ("Personal Information"), as well as non-personal information that does not reveal your identity.

Account information you provide. When you connect a wallet or create or modify an account, we collect your wallet address, an email address where you provide one through our authentication provider, a username, an optional profile image, and your membership in groups ("cabals") on the Services.

Linked social accounts. If you choose to link a third-party social account (such as X) to your Cabals account through our authentication provider, we receive information from that account, which may include your handle, display name, profile picture, biography, and follower count. We do not receive your password and we do not post on your behalf.

Activity within the Services. We collect content you post on the Services, including chat messages, posts, comments, follows, the cabals you join or create, your watchlists, and your in-app preferences.

Trading activity. When you place orders through the Services, those orders are submitted to and settled on the Hyperliquid network. We collect and display the resulting trade history, positions, balances, and related metrics for your own account, and where you make this information visible by participating in social features (such as appearing on a leaderboard or in a public profile), other users may view it as well.

Server logs. Like most websites, our servers automatically record basic technical information when you access the Services, including your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, and the pages you request. We use these logs for security, fraud prevention, and debugging.

Error and crash reports. When the Services encounter an error, we collect diagnostic information through our error monitoring provider, including the error itself, the page where it occurred, your browser and operating system, and a non-identifying user identifier so we can correlate errors to a single session.

Third-party data. We receive information about you from authentication providers when you choose to connect those services to your Cabals account. We also access public on-chain data associated with your wallet address from the Hyperliquid network in order to display your positions, balances, and trading history within the Services.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive Personal Information unless required by law or regulatory obligations.

3. How We Use Information

We process Personal Information for the following purposes:

4. Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell Personal Information. We may share Personal Information in the following situations:

Information visible to others. Some information about your account and activity is public by design. This includes your username, profile image, any linked social account details (such as your linked X handle, display name, and profile picture, where you have chosen to link such an account), the cabals you belong to, content you post in public social surfaces, and trading activity that appears on leaderboards, profiles, or other public features. Public profiles and leaderboards are accessible to anyone visiting the Services, including visitors who are not signed in. Other social content, such as messages within a cabal, may be visible only to other users with access to that cabal. You can control some of this exposure through your in-app settings.

The Hyperliquid network. Your trades, positions, and balances are recorded on Hyperliquid and are publicly visible on-chain. We do not control this and cannot remove or modify on-chain data.

Service providers. We share Personal Information with vendors that assist us with hosting, authentication, error monitoring, analytics, communications, content delivery, customer support, and security. These vendors are contractually limited to processing Personal Information only on our instructions and for the purposes we specify.

Professional advisors. We share Personal Information with lawyers, auditors, and insurers where necessary for compliance, dispute resolution, or to protect our rights.

Legal requirements. We may disclose Personal Information when required by applicable law, regulation, legal process, or government request, or where we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety or the safety of others, or to investigate fraud or violations of our Terms of Use.

Business transactions. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, or sale of all or a portion of our business or assets, Personal Information may be transferred to the counterparty as part of that transaction.

With your consent. We share Personal Information at your direction or with your consent for any other purpose disclosed at the time of collection.

5. Data Security

We implement technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect Personal Information against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, and unauthorized disclosure or access. These include access controls, encryption in transit, monitoring, and regular review of our security practices.

We do not custody your private keys. Wallets connected to the Services are non-custodial with respect to Cabals: we have no ability to access, transfer, recover, or freeze your wallet or any assets it holds. You are solely responsible for the security of your wallet, including any backup or recovery method provided by your wallet or authentication provider.

No security measure is perfect, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of information transmitted over the internet or stored electronically.

6. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of Personal Information we hold about you, as well as the right to data portability. You can exercise these rights by contacting us using the details in the Contact Us section.

You may opt out of non-essential communications by following the unsubscribe instructions included in those messages or by contacting us directly. We may still send you transactional or service-related notices, including security alerts and notices about changes to our agreements.

You may disconnect your wallet from the Services at any time. Note that on-chain trading activity is recorded on the Hyperliquid network and cannot be deleted by us, and content you have already posted in public features (chat, profiles, leaderboards) may have been seen by other users or cached by their devices.

7. International Transfers

Cabals operates globally, and Personal Information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in countries other than the country in which it was originally collected. Where required, we implement appropriate safeguards to ensure that such transfers comply with applicable data protection laws.

8. Data Retention

We retain Personal Information for as long as your account is active and for as long as is necessary to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When we no longer need Personal Information for these purposes, we will delete or anonymize it in accordance with our data retention practices, subject to backups and aggregated records that may persist for a limited additional period.

On-chain data recorded on the Hyperliquid network is permanent and is not subject to our retention controls.

9. Children

The Services are not intended for individuals under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly solicit or collect Personal Information from children. If we become aware that Personal Information from a child has been collected, we will take reasonable steps to delete it promptly.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable laws. When we make material updates, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, provide additional notice through the Services or by other means. Your continued use of the Services after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

11. Contact Us
